A5 Batik Journal
A collaboration with SPD and in the spirit of upcycling and reducing fabric wastage.
As these handbound journals are handmade using fabric offcuts, motif placement may vary from pictured, motif placements, and colours may differ slightly in each piece.
- Hand-bound with rounded corners
- Available in A5 (L 21cm x W15.3cm x H1.7cm)
- Lined paper
- 100gsm ivory-colored paper suitable for fountain pen
- pH-neutral paper
Hand wash separately recommended
Do not use chlorine bleach, strong detergents or brighteners
Avoid heavy wringing and twisting of apparel
Hang to dry in a shady area inside-out
Do not tumble dry
Medium heat iron
Brown and yellowish spots found on fabric are wax residue from the batik process which can be removed with washing
In the rare occurrence of dye bleed onto clothing, add a scoop of Vanish Oxi Action powder (pink packaging) into a pail of water and soak garment for 1 hour. Rinse thoroughly after to remove visible dye stains.
As a preventive measure, you may also use this tip on your first wash.
