The thing about handmade batik fabric is that they come in rectangular pieces, unlike normal printed fabric where they are mass produced in big rolls.
Digitally printed fabric
Batik cap (pronounced as chop) - handstamped batik
Batik tulis (tulis means write) - handdrawn batik
These handmade batik can be quite seasonal. Many times we got our hands on a particular fabric, and after producing our samples, we tried to order more but the supplier told us they have stopped producing them!
*insert sad face*
But hey! That also means what you are wearing is limited edition!
