YeoMama Batik's Going PINK This October
IT’S #PINKTOBER AND WE’RE PINKING IT UP
Because it’s October and because it’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month, YeoMama Batik is jumping in on the fight against the disease with our fellow Pink Partners, in collaboration with the Breast Cancer Foundation (BCF).
This month, NINJA by YeoMama is going PINK! Our signature activewear range takes on rosy hues –– while still sporting (geddit geddit) fun designs, full functionality –– and, of course, our traditional Indonesian batik motifs.

WHAT G-DRAGON? IT’S #PINKDRAGONS
Our limited-edition, pink activewear range sports showcases a Pink Dragons print –– inspired by the ladies of BCF Paddlers in the Pink (BCF-PIP), a dragon boat team composed of breast cancer survivors and supporters.
But we didn’t just translate the water sport that literally into our activewear designs… We took a deep dive into the symbolism behind the sport and its elements –– and we are loving it!
Dragons and water for power, resilience and luck
Dragons are powerful, mythical creatures that symbolise so many things: power, strength, courage, good fortune, regeneration, and longevity –– amongst many others –– while water represents renewal, transformation, and life itself.
Add them together and you get #PinkDragons, an activewear range that features… well… dragons. And waves –– inspired by the traditional Seigaiha motif, in recognition of the BCF-PIP’s perseverance and determination to overcome all obstacles that life throws at them, and in celebration of their tenacity and love for life.
You don’t need to be a dragonboater to wear these. Featuring sports bras (high-necked or scooped necks available), rash guards and even biker shorts, our #PinkDragons range is versatile enough for any sport (think running, cycling, surfing…) –– walking also can.

We’ve also expanded our batik designs into comfy, chic everyday pieces. From summery dresses to oversized cardigans to mandarin-collared shirts, there’s a little bit of pink for everyone…
… even our pets.
With every paddle against water, dragon boaters live and breathe discipline, grit and a dogged resolve to propel their boats forward… we weren’t just looking for a punny way to introduce our pet scarves for you to twin in pink with your dogs –– and / or cats. (Or were we?)
